A study program in Danish consists of six modules. Each module is past by a module test that must be passed in order to continue onto the next module. The study program as a whole is completed by a state controlled exam. Both day and evening courses are available at most language schools. A study program is equal to 1.2 man-year and you’ve three years to complete your study program. Within this three-year period the municipal covers the cost, beside from an administration fee of dkk. 500,- per module. After the three-year period you must cover the costs yourself. Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipal cooperates withSprogcenter Hellerup (see link to the right), whereto the majority of students are referred.
